Sometimes we overcomplicate change.
This little book reminded me that life becomes much lighter when we stop saying, “Everything is falling apart,” and instead say, “The cheese moved.” 🧀
That’s the beauty of a good metaphor. It simplifies something that feels overwhelming.
Just like “eat the frog” 🐸 makes us tackle the hardest task first, imagining ourselves as little mice in a maze looking for new cheese somehow makes change feel… less scary, and even a little funny.
The message is simple: Change is the only constant. If the cheese has moved, don’t spend your energy complaining about the empty corner. Start looking for where it went next.✨
One of the thinnest books I’ve read, finished it in a couple of hours. Yet leaves you remembering the metaphor for much longer. ⭐️
Life gets a little easier. Just laugh, shrug, and simply say, “Well… the cheese moved.” 🤷🏻♀️🧀💛
