I have bigger dreams, bigger than you and me.
My dreams soar high up in the clouds.
Beyond what you can see is where I want to be.
I nurture my wings letting them grow.
I know this is not where I want to be,
but this is where I have to be.
I wait patiently dreaming of where I want to be.
I digest the insult and hatred.
The toxicity around tries to touch me,
but it cannot touch me.
Because in my head I know where I want to be.
You are afraid of dreaming, not me.
You are afraid of big things, not me.
Your fear tries to clip my wings and pull me down.
But darling, I know exactly where I want to be.
The day I have my baby wings out, I will fly away.
Not far from you, but far above you.
To where I want to be.
